Now, for nature lovers, we're sharing some ideas for outings in the Ardennes where you can get your bikes out and about.
Laforêt Village
Located in the province of Namur, this village will transport you back in time thanks to the typical character of the houses that have been preserved. Just a stone's throw from the Semois, you can cycle along the river and discover the little stone bridge at Saint-Lambert, which is only open to pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders.
La Roche-en-Ardenne
If you like to combine nature and town, the village of La Roche-en-Ardenne is the ideal place. After a bike ride along the Ourthe, why not try some of the local specialities, such as good Ardenne ham.
A walk in the Hautes-Fagnes
There's nothing like a stroll through the Hautes-Fagnes and Ardennes forests to get a breath of fresh air on foot or by bike. The walk we recommend starts in the small towns of Stavelot and Malmedy. If you're a keen cyclist, you're in for a treat, as the route takes in part of the famous Ravel.
